PREVIEW: Jim Proudfoot interview

This week I was lucky enough to chat to respected TV and radio sports commentator, Jim Proudfoot.

With over 20 years of experience in commentary, Jim has done work for talkSPORT, Sky and ESPN - covering cricket, darts and of course football.

I felt as though Jim would be perfect in answering a few questions regarding how radio commentary has become less descriptive over the years, making it arguably less ideal for blind/visually impaired fans.

Many clubs provide headsets which link to local radio commentary as opposed to a dedicated AD service.

Despite not having much experience with AD, Jim had a great understanding of how and, most importantly, why radio has changed so much over the years.

Below is an exert from our chat in which Jim discusses why radio may be less appropriate for blind fans.

You can follow Jim on Twitter HERE.
